Abstracts
 

To prepare your abstract please download the Abstract Template as a MS Word file and then follow the instructions below.

Please, follow the format requirements for your abstract:

  • Abstracts should be prepared in English.

  • Please, prepare your abstract in A4 format. MS Word text processor (both 2003 and 2007) will be preferred.

  • All abstracts should fit into one page.

  • Leave 6.7 cm (top), 5.0 cm (bottom), 4.2 cm (left) and 4.2 cm (right) margins in the abstract.

  • Font Times New Roman (14 point size, bold for the title, 12 pt bold for Authors, and 10 pt for the main text). Arial 10 pt for affiliations.

  • Author names should appear below the title, in capital/lower case, each followed by a superscript number connecting the author to the appropriate affiliation. The corresponding author should be underlined.

  • Affiliations should appear below the author names, in capital/lower case, preceded by a superscript number relating to the appropriate author above.

  • Graphic files: paste your graphics into the text body, preferably as EPS, TIF or JPG. Please, use black and white graphic. Other format (gray scale or color) will be changed into such and results losing its quality.

  • References (if any) should be numbered and placed in square brackets e.g. [1] and [2,3], etc., and referenced below the text as in the example:

    [1] Somebody A.B., Anybody C., Nobody J.-F., Science, 102, 11-14, 2008.
    [2] Xyz Y., Tttete C.M., J. Comb. Chem., 11, 2134-2142, 2007.

  • Please, save your abstract as a MS Word file (.doc or .docx). The file should be named by the last name of the presenting author (i.e. Smith.doc) and send to the Symposium secretariat by e-mail. Multiple submission should carry the name Smith1.doc, Smith2.doc, etc.

Abstracts will be published in a "Book of Abstracts" which will be distributed in hard copy. Please, submit your abstract before June 10, 2009.
